TRACTOR RIDE TO DON AMADOR’S HOUSE
The house of the Ballumbrosio, that was built of few by the same Amador while his family grew. Today is a place of worship, where there is no wall in which there is no photograph or painting of it. Amador was a man who in life was a violinist, a shoemaker like none, and as he said, a mason by vocation. A man proud of his African and Peruvian roots.
Amador was a simple man, who without musical knowledge took beautiful melodies from his little violin, which he touched and propped him against his chest. It is the heart that plays the violin, not me , he said.
Don Amador flew to heaven, but from there he continues to play for us, through his children.
Nowadays, her children at home continue their incessant work of spreading and teaching Afro-Peruvian dances that they cultivate. They offer a show of music and dances, accompanied to the rhythm of drawers and violin.
Visits are on Sundays at 11am, departing from the Hacienda.
Price per person: Adults: S /. 30.00 Children S / .20.00
